In 2007 Audrey Smith began creating small collages in a sketchbook. The collages quickly evolved and have become her central focus. Her work is not about narrative, but rather the process of combining traditional and non-traditional media to explore color, texture, pattern, form, and space. Her work is process oriented, spontaneous and intuitive. Audrey believes in having fun with her work and finds that she gets happier results when she doesn’t take things too seriously.
